Programming note: Fox News Channel becomes America's Election HQ next Tuesday for the American presidential election with rolling coverage.


This coming Tuesday, 6 November, is American presidential election day in America and Fox News Channel (TopTV 405) will have extensive hour-by-hour live coverage for South African viewers as the election unfolds.

Fox News Channel is branding its block coverage of the American presidential election America's Election HQ. On Tuesday next week America's Election HQ will preempt on Tuesday the usual shows such as Special Report with Bret Baier, Fox Report, The O'Reilly Factor, Hannity and On the Record.

America's Election HQ on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning will start at 00:00 (South African time) with  Bret Baier and Megyn Kelly as the presenters.

This rolling coverage will continue on Fox News Channel, with Shepard Smith taking over 4 and a half hours later at 04:30 next Wednesday morning (South African time), followed by Neil Cavuto, then Gregg Jarrett and Jamie Colby.
